Braces

Braces are the most common appliance for straightening teeth and, using a combination of “brackets” and “wires”, your orthodontist will change, bend and tighten your braces to move your teeth as you progress through treatment.

In recent years, clear braces have risen in popularity and technology has made treatment more discreet, comfortable and efficient than ever.

Clear Aligners

While braces are the more traditional method of straightening teeth, clear aligner treatment is increasingly popular among both adults and teens. Using clear “trays” that fit snugly on to your teeth, the gentle pressure of clear aligners can straighten and align your smile. Clear aligners are less invasive and visible than braces, and is often more comfortable for patients and their lifestyles. Your specialist orthodontist can recommend if clear aligners are right for you.
